ExPoint is looking to add an experienced Annotation Team Lead to join our team serving Apple in the United States, based in Austin, TX! The Annotation Team Lead will be responsible for leading the efforts to create training data for machine learning applications. This role is essential for the success of our clients' AI projects, as they rely on having accurate and comprehensive training datasets that have been effectively annotated. The successful candidate must have an in-depth understanding of AI applications and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. You should be able to work collaboratively with other departments to communicate requirements and actualize strategic objectives. The Annotation Team Lead should be well-versed in the concepts of computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and audio-based machine learning tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing the annotation pipeline. This includes developing efficient processes and standards for the annotation team, ensuring quality control, dealing with challenges, and providing feedback and coaching to team members. Additionally, you will collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure consistency within the data annotation process, and be responsible for collecting and presenting KPIs to track the progress of the annotation tasks. We are searching for a candidate who is a self-starter and highly organized. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have the capacity to both manage a team and work within it.
