Purpose and Relevance for the organization:

. The Demand Plan (DP) is the basis for Purchasing and significantly influences the inventory management/stock turn and re-order availability. Therefore it is also the foundation for reaching sales and inventory targets. Main KPI is the Demand Plan accuracy in consideration of availability and inventory levels. In addition, you are the key user within the Demand Planning community and the point of contact for system-related topics.

Ranging & Strategy

  • Excellent knowledge of range segmentation and merchandising plan for eCommerce channels
  • Strong trading mindset, with an entrepreneurial flair to maximize business opportunities
  • Technical skillset: advanced Excel, PowerBI, Data visualization tools. Experience with coding languages an advantage
  • Fluent in English

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree, ideally in business with marketing and sales focus - MBA an advantage
  • Total of 8 - 10 years experience with minimum 5+ years’ leadership / directorial / head of dept experience of core buying & merchandising function, preferably in a digital or retail organization, with broad-based experience working with fashion franchises, vertical and multichannel retailers. Experience working with a Sporting Goods retailer is preferred
  • Multi-store and eCom experience essential
  • Functional knowledge of Marketing Activation, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Experienced in working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to establish efficient and scalable processes
  • Experienced in working cross-functional within international organization
