Our Commercial Lending Insurance Support Specialists will:

Manage risk by performing review and analysis of insurance policies for the express purpose of determining acceptability and compliance.

Make outbound calls to insurance agents/carriers regarding commercial insurance coverage questions, inquiries and/or problems on the status of insurance by researching, verifying, updating loan insurance information, and documenting the affected account’s history file.

Review moderately complex loan servicing documentation language.

Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Develops and enforces compliance policies and procedures.

May be involved in a variety of compliance projects and initiatives regarding information disclosure, legal proceedings, etc.

Performs periodic reviews to assess level of regulatory compliance.


Preferred Skills/Experience
- Proficient with data entry
- Agility and adaptability with learning and utilizing new systems/programs
- Strong knowledge of commercial insuyrance coverage and procedures
- Experience reviewing and interpreting insurance policies as they apply to collateral secured loans
- Basic knowledge of government and regulatory laws and regulations
- Basic knowledge of U.S. Bancorp operations, policies and procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously (effective time management)

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $53,300.00 - $71,100.00 - $78,210.00
