As a software development engineer on the team, you will:- Work in a fast-paced environment building products using Java, AWS (infrastructure, serverless, relational/NoSQL databases, Big Data/ML technologies etc.) along with a wide range of automated DevOps tools.- Seek to continually innovate and scale the services through researching design tradeoffs, and owning operational excellence.
Key job responsibilities
- Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture- Design and develop highly distributed components of our advertising system.- Apply big data technologies and Work with our ml scientist and product managers to design experiments with machine learning / deep learning techniques- Establish the best processes and drive improvements in design, development and operations- Mentor and guide junior engineers on design, coding, troubleshooting and operational excellence

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
