Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)• Lead the sales functions for Incyte.• Design and structure the field force and supporting operations consistent with Incyte's strategic imperatives.• Attract, hire, train, motivate and retain a diverse sales force, training and sales leadership team.• Accountable for meeting or exceeding national sales goals and other sales performance targets.• Set and monitor operating budgets to ensure appropriate and optimal use of resources in the field.• Track, monitor, and report on sales performance and progress to Executive Team.• Collaborate with Product Strategy, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Operations and other functions on strategic and tactical plans, development of new materials and programs and other areas requiring cross functional alignment.• Develop and maintain strong work relationships with thought leaders.• Help develop and apply the policies that govern the conduct of Incyte's promotional activities and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and Incyte Policies.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and organizational design.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to build organizational capabilities in strategic thinking and change management.
, and competency)• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred.• 10 or more years of experience in sales with a minimum of 5 years sales 2and 3line leadership in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with a track record of progressing to higher/more senior roles and responsibilities. Experience in Dermatology or Immunology preferred.• Experience implementing innovative technology-based solutions for customer engagement (e.g. e-detailing, tablet PCs, and/or closed loop marketing) preferred.• Must possess excellent influencing and verbal communication skills.• Strong ability to understand market trends, financial data, customer needs, and the ability to assess competitive intelligence data is also required.• Direct experience with sales planning and sales experience in dermatology or immunology are preferred.
