Your key responsibilities - You’ll lead the successful delivery of Indirect Tax engagements, taking a professional, practical and commercial approach and ensuring technical excellence.
- Identify opportunities in the market and lead on developing our commercial proposition to new and existing clients.
- Build and maintain tax relationships with our own clients.
- Advise how indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or good & services tax (GST) impact clients’ supply chain and financial and accounting systems.
- Identify and address areas of risk, advise clients on the taxation implication of global trade and assist them in complying with customs regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize IDT functions and processes.
- Leverage on technology to improve deliverables.
- Advise on system / process improvement linked to IDT compliance matters.

To qualify for the role you must have - A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of work experience in indirect tax or a related field
- Knowledge on implementation of e-invoicing in addition to IDT knowledge
- Passionate in IT
Ideally, you’ll also have
• A professional qualification in Tax
• Hands-on experience in GST implementation and technical review
