What you'll do
As part of the S/4HANA Customer Safeguarding Team, you will support customers in an easy end-to-end implementation experience of S/4HANA Cloud applications deployed via Central Business Configuration (CBC). Your role will focus on development support of customer incidents, preventing escalations related to S/4HANA SAP Best Practices Content. You will support the cloud lifecycle along upgrades and updates of customer systems, including root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents. Based on detailed RCA, you will derive respective development needs for tools, processes, and applications to continuously improve the quality of our solutions.
- Investigate, analyze complex problems; and independently resolve complex content-related issues for S/4HANA customers deployed via CBC within your area of expertise and outside.
- Manage internal and external escalations, including customer communication.
- Drive and orchestrate incident resolution by building and leveraging your network of involved stakeholders and experts (e.g., LoB, Industry, etc.).
- Provide timely and ongoing regular updates and solutions to SAP management and customers according to our Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Temporarily safeguard customers in critical/escalated situations and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Think independently, act proactively, and take responsibility by applying effective problem-solving skills, your special focus area knowledge, and your network of experts.
What you bring
- University degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields with above-average results.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA in either consulting, development, or support roles, preferably in a broader context of Business Content (SAP Best Practices).
- Strong professional knowledge of ABAP and ABAP Object-Oriented.
- Strong experience with Scrum and Lean Development methodology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with working in international teams and/or customers required.
