Qualifications

  • Establish Center of Excellence for Design for Sustainability within KLA’s Global Product Group organization
  • Manage comprehensive energy audits and assessments on KLA products and sub systems
  • Build database of best practices/design as well as component selection guide for improving the energy efficiency of KLA’s subsystems and overall
  • Ensure designs and product installations comply with efficiency
    standards
  • Analyze energy consumption data across various product families
  • Optimize energy usage in KLA Product and Sub-systems under various conditions and settings
  • Perform energy audits. Use findings to suggest upgrades and retrofits
  • Analyze energy consumption data across various product families
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into product design, manufacturing, and operations.
  • Work with Engineering and Program Managers to establish Energy Efficiency targets for new product development in correlation with meetings KLA’s published SBTi targets
  • When working with product groups on new product development, recognize opportunities for reduction of GHG and proliferate those opportunities to other new KLA products where applicable.
  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives and projects to reduce environmental impact of KLA product
  • Monitor and report on sustainability metrics and progress towards goals.
  • Research and stay updated on sustainability trends, technologies, and regulations that may impact KLA product development in the future
  • Provide technical support and guidance onsustainability-relatedissues.
  • Prepare and present sustainability reports to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sustainability engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in sustainability software and tools.
