What You'll Dofor ASEAN, you will be responsible for ensuring the Cisco People & Communities (P&C) agenda is effectively delivered within ASEAN in two ways:
1. Direct a team of Country Consultants to provide country-wide, function agnostic support to all employees in ASEAN. Specifically, you- Provide direction and support to your team in day-to-day operations
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive culture and foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Improve team synergy to deliver maximum value to the business.
- Coach and mentor team members for professional growth and navigate changes effectively.
- Act as an active member of the Global Country Acceleration (CA) leadership team
- Contribute to the overall management of APJC CA team
Act as a Country Consultant for one of ASEAN countries to drive compliance, change and employee engagement in country.
- Partner with Community Partners (HRBP) and other Country Consultants in ASEAN to understand the need and demand of the business to ensure local activities and initiatives match the business strategy in Country.
- Co-own complex country compliance and legislation requirements in country
- Partner with P&C stakeholders (e.g. Country Support, Benefits, ER) to ensure country relevance in global/regional/country programs
- Provide country insights and consulting on how to approach and implement complex country compliance and legal requirements, benefits changes, global programs
- Support execution of cross-functional projects e.g. restructuring, mergers, acquisitions and divestiture
- Support critical Employee in Crisis escalations and critical country ER escalations
- Represent HR externally and drive local Cisco brand strategy
Who You Are- Holder of a recognized degree in HRM or business-related degree
- 10+ years of relevant experience (HR Generalist) in IT industry, multinational, dynamic and fast paced culture preferred.
- Confident, independent, dynamic, proactive, people and results-oriented personality with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Builds relationships - Initiates, develops, and maintains genuine positive relationships with others that go beyond transactional interactions.
- Actively cultivates network of relationships across functions
- Has deep country knowledge and local expertise
- Uses data and insights to inform decisions and proactively manage opportunities & risks
