As an architect for Helix ITSM, you will primarily be focused on design and architecture of the Helix ITSM Platform across public and private cloud. The Helix ITSM Platform is the underlying cloud and common services that the BMC Helix IT Service Management applications are built upon. You will work with product architects and product managers to understand requirements, drive holistic platform use cases, and assist products with new service adoption.

In this role, you will:

• Work with product managers, architects, and R&D to understand the needs for the entire platform and help design platform wide services.
• Work with the architecture team, help define use cases across products for a complete end to end vision of IT Service Management
• Support sales and pre-sales to effectively communicate the technical aspects of the Helix ITSM Platform based solutions.
• Provide guidelines and review use of common infrastructure components across several products and platform.
• Work with SaaS Operations to help define working model for products and consumed infrastructure components.
• Work with R&D/DevOps to guide private cloud deployments.
• With architecture team, define architectural principles across all services and implement those components to address requirements around scalability, security, reliability, availability, supportability, performance, multi-tenancy for SaaS applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10+ years architecture experience working with software teams, out of which at least 5 years is in SaaS domain.
• 15+ years of experience with software development and design
• History of delivering enterprise cloud native applications and platform solutions
• Experience working with public cloud providers and managed services.
• Experience with highly scalable solutions built on technologies such as GenAI, Elasticsearch and Kafka
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional, global teams.
