What You Will Do:
As a Staff, Systems and Infrastructure Engineer on the Cloud Security Posture Management team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a multitude of in-house CSPM services, driving cloud provider feature roadmaps to deliver new capabilities, and consulting with teams across Global Tech to enable secure service integrations. Some of the things you do are:
- Design and develop container based microservices for cloud resource enrichment & inventory
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging internal tools
- Build monitoring, reporting and service integration into enterprise solutions
- Mentor junior members with their software engineering services
- Work with one of the largest multi-cloud environments in the world
- Work directly with internal and third-party teams like Google, Microsoft, and Wiz.
- Provide Information Security teams with compliance and vulnerability services
- Review service architecture for new applications and services
- Present internally
- Drive product roadmap and meet directly with stakeholders to build requirements
What you'll bring:
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience operating enterprise applications within containerized environments.
- Ability to build services with Python, SQL, and Terraform that run on Kubernetes
- Ability to build monitoring by exposing metrics and logging to tool internal tooling
- Significant cloud security experience and software engineering experience (threading, async, python, docker, load balancing, IAM, database management, SQL, DevOps methodologies, cloud policy, cloud services, etc...)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of meeting/driving towards deadlines
- Can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to varying audiences
- Familiarity with security services and controls within the cloud
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 4 years’ experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company or 6 years’ experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
- 3 years' experience developing Python
- 3 years' experience with Azure or GCP or AWS
