As an AUTOSAR MCAL and CDD Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules, MCAL, and CDD. Your expertise in AUTOSAR and embedded software development will be instrumental in configuring, validating, and optimizing software components to meet industry standards and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
AUTOSAR Experience: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Classic AUTOSAR, including the BSW stack, MCAL, and AutoSAR tools. Work on BSW integration, validation, and SW-C/application development.
Configuration and Generation Tools: Utilize AUTOSAR configuration and generation tools such as Vector Davinci Configurator, EB TresOs, and ETAS to configure and optimize MCAL, CDD, and BSW components.
Integration and Validation: Integrate and validate AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules within existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance with standards.
Static Code Testing: Configure and conduct testing for AUTOSAR MCAL static code to ensure high code quality and adherence to industry standards.
Communication Protocols: Exhibit expertise in communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, and Ethernet, and demonstrate the ability to effectively test them.
Microcontroller Peripherals: Have a solid understanding of microcontroller peripherals, including ADC, PORT, DIO, GTM, GPT, PWM, and CDD, and their utilization in AUTOSAR software development.
Programming Skills: Possess strong C/C++ programming skills and experience in embedded software development on ARM or similar processor cores.
Test Strategy and Execution: Develop comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and execute tests within the automotive domain to ensure product reliability and quality.
Debugging Skills: Utilize debugging skills, with experience in debugging using Lauterbach JTAG debuggers, to resolve software and hardware issues effectively.
Hardware Understanding: Possess a basic understanding of hardware components such as clocks, PLLs, GPIO, interrupt controllers (GIC), and peripherals (SPI/I2C/CAN/Ethernet).
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in AUTOSAR software development and validation.
Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR standards and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
