The Global Domestic Payments and Receivables team is leading transformation to standardize approach to managing Domestic Payments and Receivables network. The main objective is to align our global network across 90+ markets to our client's business models which are increasingly regional and/or global.

What you’ll do:

As a Global Domestic Payments Product Manager, you will manage our existing traditional domestic network as well as complimentary value add solutions. You will lead the commercial launch of new markets and capabilities by partnering with country and regional Product Managers, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Implementations, Operations & Service, Technology, and others – to deliver solutions to clients that optimize consumer experience, minimize risk, and drive revenue. You will deliver on strategic initiatives, identify value-creation opportunities and design strategies to grow adoption of Domestic Payment solutions across the globe. You will be an instrumental part of the go-to-market strategy by bringing value-creating solutions to life.

  • Manage our existing global domestic payments network and solutions.
  • Understand the Payments landscape and payments industry trends.
  • Work with clients, sales and partners to identify opportunities to enhance our domestic payments solutions, to ensure a best-in-class client experience.
  • Collaborate across the firm and with ecosystem players to deliver innovative technologies and game-changing solutions.
  • Work closely with Technology, Operations and Coverage teams to drive timely, cost effective and high-quality delivery of strategically aligned product solutions.
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate investments in product development, and monitor and control billing/revenue, expenditure, and benefits realization.
  • Monitor, analyse and influence key global Domestic Payments P&L drivers (Revenue, Volume, Pipeline, Deal trends, Voice of Client).
  • Work closely with global and regional product teams to develop and refine the strategy of product solutions, go to market approach, and delivery model.
  • Create frameworks and strategies that enable globally consistent solutions.
  • Work closely with our commercialization and sales partners to create comprehensive solution packages.
  • Work with Product control functions to ensure that all relevant documentation (e.g. Product Approval Program) and processes are strictly adhered to and part of the management fabric of the product business.
  • Coordinate planning and other related activities for launching of new capabilities and functionalities across technology, operations, implementations, and regional teams.
  • Work closely with the Coverage teams, and core product teams to ensure that demands of the clients are well understood.
  • Invest time to keep track of Competition, Market Trends, New Technologies.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Leverage learnings across existing solutions and product launches to develop best practices that can be leveraged by the regional and country teams and across the firm.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Significant relevant experience in payments with product management and client facing experience and a good understanding of the payments landscape and commercialization strategies.
  • Understanding payments processing, payments risk and compliance risk management.
  • User experiences from both a corporate and consumer standpoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, take initiative, and produce consistent high-quality work; Willingness to be a direct contributor and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
