In this role, you will join a growing RF Systems Engineering team dedicated to developing and innovating highly energy-efficient, robust GNSS receiver architectures. These architectures are designed to seamlessly coexist with various co-located high-power RF technologies operating in adjacent frequency bands. You will collaborate closely with Platform Architecture, RFIC Design, and PHY teams to evaluate, design, and spearhead RF system innovations, emphasizing exceptional performance in real-world conditions.Your daily work includes the following tasks: • Translate system level GNSS receiver requirements into detailed specifications for the integrated RX chain (including the breakdown to block / component level). • Analyze the receiver chain by means of simulations in MATLAB, and level plan / impairment analysis (SysCalc). Run static analysis for specific scenarios defined for the product by the architecture teams. • Select, simulate and specify RF architectures suitable for integration into a GNSS receiver SoC.• Prepare specifications as input for RFIC / RTL design teams and FW teams.• Solve sophisticated and interdisciplinary problems that are related to the GNSS receive system, in collaboration with the GNSS systems team.• Support validation teams in defining and carrying out measurements to validate RX performance.• Assist with silicon debug, and propose solutions and workarounds as needed.• Collaborate with Front End, Cellular, and CoEx teams on platform architectures.• Drive the further development of the simulation environment and modeling.
