Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape key risk & control strategic business programs, deliverables and workstreams
- Lead program steering committee meetings/ decision points and serve as an effective point of escalation for program stakeholders
- Partner with global teams to meet program objectives/deliverables
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Knowledge of core payments rails including domestic and international Wires
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Demonstrate creative, problem solving, analytical, data analysis, reporting and presentation skills
- Strong Organizational skills and delivery focus with the ability to multi-task, influence and manage to deadlines
- Experience managing projects and driving them to closure
- Demonstrate communication skills with the ability to effectively manage difficult conversations and to deliver a consenting view
- Ability to provide written and verbal updates to senior management
- Risk and controls awareness with ability to anticipate control gaps and determine remediation plans
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
