Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- 5 years of experience with numerical methods/modeling, FEA tools (e.g., Abaqus) 3D CAD software, and experience with material testing, tensile testing, and strain-gauge instrumentation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in mechanics and structural analysis for consumer hardware.
- Experience in development and integration of electro-mechanical components (e.g., display assemblies, batteries, antennas).
- Experience with 3D CAD, such as NX, ProE, or Solidworks.
- Ability to communicate well with cross-functional team members and other technical teams.
- Ability to collaborate across a complex organization to achieve project goals.
