Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, servicing, and repair of material handling systems, including conveyors, palletizers, and robots.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems with minimal supervision.
• Provide on-site customer training on equipment usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any challenges related to equipment delivery and installation.
• Troubleshoot and service Allen Bradley PLCs using Rockwell Software.
• Follow detailed work instructions and collaborate with engineering teams to update or amend outdated instructions.
• Continuously improve training guides and documentation for both internal teams and customers.
• Travel 75-95% within the service territory including overnight stays.

Compensation information

The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $54,000-$67,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE

• At least 4 years of experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Conveyor systems experience.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience with high voltage electrical systems.

WE VALUE

• Previous experience in the material handling industry.
• Hands-on experience working with conveyor systems.
• Experience with installation and technical service of equipment.
• Allen Bradley PLC or similar experience.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to identify and correct mistakes in technical documentation and instructions.
• A college degree or technical/professional certifications are a plus.
