As a Lead Technical Program Manager in the Corporate Technology Strategic Program Implementation (SPI) group, you will have the opportunity to promote the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs. In this role, you will be a key player in achieving business goals for Corporate stakeholders and across the firm. As part of the SPI team, you will help reduce delivery risk for the most critical and high risk Corporate Technology programs. You will be responsible for setting the standards for project and program delivery and ensuring adherence to those standards. You will also have the chance to partner closely with the Portfolio Governance function to ensure programs are accurately represented and effectively managed using the firm’s standard tooling.
Job responsibilities
- Experience of delivering, or contributing to the delivery of, effective technology change projects/programs
- Experience of working within a structured project/program delivery approach or of implementing a structured project/program delivery approach within a team or broader organization
- Strong ability to support a team in driving a project or program from initiation through to closure
- Understanding of both waterfall and agile techniques
- Leads the ability to leverage your network to drive effective delivery
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
- Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services
- Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
