As our Senior Estimator, you'll be the financial foundation of our project planning and execution processes, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver accurate cost assessments and ensure efficient resource allocation.
You'll have the freedom to work across multiple Australian projects and sectors, broadening your experience and impact while delivering estimating excellence.
Key Duties will include:
- Lead the development of comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and resources for transport infrastructure projects
- Create detailed project budgets aligned with scope requirements and client expectations
- Be involved in competitive tender submissions and bids that position Jacobs for success
- Conduct financial feasibility assessments and provide strategic advice to stakeholders and clients
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks through proactive planning
- Forecast and assess costs, timelines, quality parameters, and constructability factors
- Develop detailed bills of quantities with precision and technical accuracy
- Manage variations and cost proposals with exceptional attention to detail
- Create forecast cash flows and deliver procurement guidance to clients
- Participate in value management and risk workshops as a subject matter expert
