Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
4 years of total work experience related to category management, procurement, or related fields.
2 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement roles, with a focus on managing engineering, technical operations or related categories.
Experience with sourcing strategies, “Request For” processes (i.e., RFP, RFI, RFQ), negotiations, and supplier evaluations within designated categories, achieving cost savings and value creation.
Experience with Contract Management within the Engineering and Technical Operations category, or related areas.
Preferred qualifications:
Advanced degree or certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience in developing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure category performance and track progress towards strategic goals.
Experience leveraging technology/investigative tools (i.e., SQL, AI tools) to enhance category management practices and drive data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of ensuring contracts are in compliance with legal and company standards while partnering with cross-functional partners in this regard.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead strategic projects/initiatives aimed at improving procurement processes, implementing new strategies, or driving innovation within the category.
