What You’ll Do:

• Maintain the Cloud (AWS) environment, support, and operations.
• Handle security remediations and system updates.
• Handle tickets.
• Report status and issues.
• Design, develop, deploy, and configure modular cloud-based systems.
• Work in tandem with our cloud and development teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding deployment and maintenance of infrastructure and applications.
• Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to developer teams to build their cloud competencies.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company policy and standards.
• Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
• Work independent or among a team as required.
• Creating CloudFormation Templates.
• Database Infrastructure Management.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Machine Learning.
• Experience with AI.
• Experience with DMS.
• Experience with Cloud Networking.
• Experience with AWS Serverless Technology.
• Experience Azure.
• AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate.

Who You Are:

• Someone with at least 5 years in IT and 3 years specializing in AWS Cloud Services Operations.
• Education: 4-yrs college or equivalent work experience in IT.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, able to communicate solutions and issues to both IT and non-IT.
• Self-driven and able to handle projects independently.
• Strong experience with IT Systems administration.
• Experience working with Application and Development teams.
• Experience with deploying using CICD, Gitlab and CloudFormation.
