Responsibilities
Building applications by translating specifications into IT solutions based on Appian,
Participating in the domain technical and business discussions,
Translating requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards.
Supporting process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
Defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment.
Training and mentoring more junior peers.
Collaborating with other teams and technologies’ representatives to propose efficient solutions meeting high quality standards and following best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Strong professional Appian experience.
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of Appian (Certified Associate Developer is a must) including Design, Process Models, Interface design, Integrations, Data management, Records and Expression Rules, Performance improvement,
Experience in designing and developing end to end solutions with a minimal supervision,
Experience in Cloud Computing (AWS preferred),
Understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps model,
Experience in working with Relational Databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle etc,
Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architecture standards,
Working knowledge in Integration services and Connectors like SOAP, REST,
Experience in any other programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or BPM technologies (Pega) is a plus.
Business Acumen
Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
Experience in building software for Global Supply Chain is a plus.
