Primary Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal data processing pipelines

• Contribute to Proof of Concepts

• Perform peer code reviews

• Transform existing tooling to new technologies (Data Mesh, Dbt, Five Tran, Snowflake)

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

• Comfortable working in an environment requiring cross-team collaboration

• Working knowledge of Python

• Open mind and a desire to learn interesting data engineering technologies like Airflow, Tekton, Data Mesh, Snowflake

• Good verbal and written communication skills

The following are considered a plus:

• Basic concepts of Data analysis and Visualization

• Knowledge of Jupyter notebooks

• Familiarity with architecture or operations of Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift 4

• Basic knowledge of PromQL
