In this role, you will…
- Provide technical leadership for Application Integration platforms and drive applications and systems integration related capabilities and need within the organization.
- Build relationships and collaborate with business stakeholders, project management team, engineering leadership, and subject matter experts from other areas in delivering system and application integration related need.
- Support many project teams by providing technical leadership and expertise for Identity management integration needs.
- Stay close to the solution implementation and conduct design and code to ensure a high-quality delivery and to avoid production incidents.
- Manage changes according to change management policies and processes and adhere to established change management and change control systems.
- Provide status updates and reporting metrics to the engineering leadership and contribute towards meeting the SLA and on time delivery.
- Support and foster DevOps culture and practices around integration engineering team. Establish consistent and repeatable build processes, standards and governance and providing documentation according to change management, release management and governance process.
- Interface with Development, Operations and Support Management, and Business Partners to understand and resolve any technical issues that are discovered during any phase of the software life cycle.
- Collaborate with incident management and various support-teams to address and resolve any production incidents involving integrations and ensure that timely resolution/recovery.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent years of experience
Required Experience:
- 8 + years of Software Engineering experience.
- 2+ Prior experience in leading or managing DevOps team is required.
- 2+ years of experience with Identity & Access Management (Okta, Auth0) or API Management (Apigee, AWS) or Integration Engineering (TIBCO, Mulesoft, WSO2 etc).
- Hand on experience working as DevOps engineer with focus on automation and expertise to implement DevOps practice.
- Ability to document complex architectural concepts and solutions in both business and technical terms.
- Proven strong skills in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions.
- Proven track record of working and leading team in an agile methodology and knowledgeable with SCRUM framework.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience with Identity Management platform and concepts.
- Expertise in automation and DevOps.
- Knowledgeable in relational and non-relational databases.
- Proficiency in cloud computing. AWS certification is a plus.
- Expert level understanding of System Integration and System Engineering concepts.
