Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of ongoing landscape construction projects to verify compliance with project specifications, blueprints, and contracts.
Inspect the quality and condition of materials used in the project, ensuring they meet the approved standards.
Monitor installation of irrigation systems, plants, hardscaping features, and other landscape elements.
Identify and report any discrepancies or non-compliant work to the contractor and project supervisor.
Issue stop-work orders if necessary to address safety hazards or major compliance issues.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, including photographs and written reports.
Review and approve landscape plans and as-built drawings.
May participate in pre-construction site assessments to identify potential challenges.
Experience in landscape construction or related field.
Strong understanding of landscape design principles, construction methods, and materials.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential problems.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with contractors and other parties.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
