Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in backend development for large business environments (Kotlin, Java, Go, PHP preferred).
- 5+ years of experience designing complex systems, management products, or business applications.
- Prior experience in a cloud computing environment like AWS/GCP is highly preferred.
- Strong OOD and SOA principles, with ability to implement them in a preferred language.
- Practical experience developing applications using microservices, container technologies, and container management systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Mesos).
- Strong experience with database design (SQL, NoSQL) and analytics.
- Adherence to internal coding standards, development processes, and design best practices.
- Commitment to quality via thorough testing and leveraging peer reviews.
- Ability to scope, estimate, and prioritize work effectively.
- Passionate about building great web applications and continuously learning new ways to deliver excellent software products.
