A day in the life
• Serve as a key technical owner of the Business Development team in helping to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform.
• Scope each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
• Own each technical engagement, capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community.
• Understand the AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.About the team

- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of cloud architecture
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify the value cloud computing brings to customers.
- Excellent technical proficiency, capable of developing practical cloud migration strategies and solutions, and delving into technical details.
- Extensive experience in technical architecture design and optimization, as well as enterprise customer service (preferably in the financial service industry).
- Familiarity with two or more common technology domains, such as virtualization, storage, databases, networking, security, big data, machine learning, containers, DevOps, CI/CD, microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Node.js, Golang, Rust, etc.
- Experience in building workloads related to the financial industry, such as securities trading systems, quantitative factor mining, quantitative backtesting, payment gateways.
- Background in software development is preferred.
- Familiarity with common ISVs in the financial service industry is preferred.
- Financial industry certifications (such as CFA, FRM) are preferred.
