Markets Direct Access (“MDA”) Program. This program enables Citi Wealth to refer appropriate clients to Markets for coverage by their asset class professionals. Qualifying clients in professional mega wealth and Family Office clients that can trade directly with the various desks in Markets.
Structured Solutions, which includes acquisition / sales of strategic equity solutions, commercial real estate financing opportunities, commodities hedging and financing solutions and other complex structured lending provided out of Markets.
Support the growth of referrals for new clients for the Investment Bank and Corporate Bank (Banking), including ECM and M&A transactions.
Working in close partnership with Citi’s Global Family Office Group to help build a complete understanding of the various capabilities amongst Private Banking team leaders, Private Bankers and Investment Counsellors.
Continuously source new institutional capabilities and services across all asset classes.
Work with Risk, Credit and Legal across the Wealth and Institutional lines of business to develop robust procedures, oversee adherence, suitability and appropriateness, and coordinate the required legal and internal documentation when arranging referrals to non-Wealth lines of business.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience
Spanish or Portuguese language skills required.
Extensive knowledge of products and capabilities across asset classes, including:
Derivatives and cash trading
Prime brokerage, financing, credit extension and structuring
Risk management (credit, market, operational)
Corporate & Investment banking
Experience with Family Offices, and coordinating with sell-side Family Office coverage teams to ensure appropriateness of introducing Wealth Clients to Institutional (non-Wealth) lines of business.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills essential
Attention to detail, proactive leadership, and strong follow-up skills
