2026 Investment Banking Associate Program
A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transaction banking, commercial real estate lending and servicing, investment banking, equity and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients.
As an Associate in the Investment Banking Program, you will be part of a focused, high-performing team that supports clients through strategic transactions and capital raising. From day one, you will engage in live projects, build relationships with clients and senior bankers, and contribute to the work that helps our clients achieve their objectives in today’s dynamic environment.
You will join a product or industry coverage group aligned to a specific location, where you will deepen your expertise while developing the technical and strategic skills critical to long-term success in investment banking.
What to Expect
The program begins with seven weeks of comprehensive training in Charlotte, covering financial accounting, credit analysis, valuation, and modeling. You will also prepare for Series 63, 79, and SIE license exams.
Following training, you will step directly into deal execution and client advisory work. Your responsibilities may include:

Licensing Requirements
FINRA registration for SIE, Series 63 (or 66), and Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire if not already held. Recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Positions are available in New York and Charlotte, with limited opportunities in Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.
Pay Range:
NC (Charlotte): $175,000 Yearly
NY (New York City): $175,000 Yearly
TX (Houston): $175,000 Yearly
IL (Chicago): $175,000 Yearly
Washington, D.C.: $175,000 Yearly
This position may be subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
