What You Will Do
- Manage competitive data lifecycle: acquisition, data management, and enablement.
- Support Uber Eats leadership by modeling competition trends and providing strategic insights.
- Translate ambiguous questions into clear recommendations for leadership and regional teams.
- Collaborate with global partners to gain alignment on key competition insights and metrics.
- Build tools and frameworks for competition tracking and intelligence.
- Develop and implement end-to-end data pipelines for high-priority business KPIs.
- Shape Uber Eats’ thinking around competition through developed frameworks.
- Improve UberEats competition data infrastructure worldwide.
What You Will Need
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in an analytical role (management consulting, business intelligence, analytics, data engineering).
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Maths, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong business insight and understanding of profitable growth.
- Excellent communication skills for varied audiences.
- Organizational and planning skills to manage tasks and projects.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Proven partner management and relationship-building skills.
- Teamwork mindset with optimism and respect for others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in competitive intelligence or the online food delivery industry.
- Understanding of high-performance queries (Hive, Presto).
