What You Will Do

• Manage competitive data lifecycle: acquisition, data management, and enablement.
• Support Uber Eats leadership by modeling competition trends and providing strategic insights.
• Translate ambiguous questions into clear recommendations for leadership and regional teams.
• Collaborate with global partners to gain alignment on key competition insights and metrics.
• Build tools and frameworks for competition tracking and intelligence.
• Develop and implement end-to-end data pipelines for high-priority business KPIs.
• Shape Uber Eats’ thinking around competition through developed frameworks.
• Improve UberEats competition data infrastructure worldwide.

What You Will Need

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an analytical role (management consulting, business intelligence, analytics, data engineering).
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Maths, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong business insight and understanding of profitable growth.
• Excellent communication skills for varied audiences.
• Organizational and planning skills to manage tasks and projects.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Proven partner management and relationship-building skills.
• Teamwork mindset with optimism and respect for others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in competitive intelligence or the online food delivery industry.
• Understanding of high-performance queries (Hive, Presto).
