IT Advisor, Technology Consulting, Supply Chain Technology - Supply Chain - Energy Optimization (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1507948), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Chicago, IL.Provide advisory/consulting services to Power & Utilities clients, providing industry insights that energize growth. Analyze utility industry client requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing business processes and system capabilities, workflow, and work scheduling limitations. Develop, document and revise system design requirements, procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Advise clients regarding proposed definition and implementation of an over-arching systems strategy, including architecture, design, and roadmaps. Focus on delivering measurable, sustainable results to protect utilities businesses from computer-related risks, improve performance, and help clients maximize operational efficiency.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.Must have 4 years of experience delivering technology advisory and/or consulting services to Power & Utilities clients.

Must have experience with at least 2 project life-cycle implementations in one or more of the following: SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, or EMS.

Must have 4 years of experience developing project strategy and tracking schedule.

Must have 4 years of experience writing and tracking business and functional requirements for vendor selection and project execution.

Must have 1 year of experience developing and implement migration scenarios, including utilities sector specific cut-over, data migration, and master data considerations.

Must have 3 years of experience in one of the following:
- functional or technical design; or
-test management and/or coordination on operational technology vendor software.

Must have 2 years of experience leading client interviews to assess operation strategy, identify pain points and drive consensus.

Must have 2 years of experience leading teams.
