Job Overview

Strong technical experiences and relationships with key players in Industrial IOT sector will be highly desirable. This position requires very close communications across different teams in the region such as business development, product marketing and sales teams as well as Qualcomm IE-IOT business unit. The key roles are as below.

• Understand key aspects of customers' system requirements and designs

• Communicate with internal development teams on customers’ issues/features/designs

• Work with customers in developing customized features and resolving development stage/product commercialization issues on multiple operating systems including Linux, Windows and Android

• Help external stakeholder including direct customers, design houses, ecosystem partners to easily port their softwares on Qualcomm SoC based systems and utilizes various compute capabilities and software feature set on the Qualcomm SoC including AI

• Train customers on QC platforms and features so that they can develop Qualcomm SoC based products easily

• Handling customers’ Q&A and work closely with internal developers

• Collaborate across multiple locations and travel domestic and internationally

Required Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Experience in design, development, and commercialization of complex IOT products running feature rich complex multi-tasking operating systems

• Familiar with embedded system, real-time OS and HLOS - exposure to one or more of Linux, Yocto, Ubuntu based systems

• Solid understanding of computer system architecture (core, cache, memory models, bus architecture, etc.) based on arm architecture

• Strong experience in C/C++ programming, systems knowledge

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation, the ability to learn quickly and must be a self-starter

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI development and customization

• Hands on management, strong leadership, dynamic communication abilities and a creative and collaborative attitude

• Able to execute multi-task with high agility

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 4+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 3+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 2+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
