Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement and ensure success around specific implementation projects, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad knowledge around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
Key job responsibilities
The selected candidate will work with AWS customers to map business requirements to technology; define performance requirement based on user access patterns; compare between various design patterns; discern between variety of data, analytics, AI/ML, compute, containers, and serverless technologies; architect for high availability and scaling requirements, while minimizing the cost and meeting security standards; architect disaster recovery solutions for required RTO/RPO; advise on building DevOps pipelines and process; advise on monitoring and observability; conduct well architected reviews; partner with AWS Specialists to implement innovative solutions; collaborate with the Service teams to identify feature gaps suggest new features; present to customer C-suite and technical communities on architecture patterns, best practices, case studies.

- Total 9+ years of design, implementation and deployment experience in IT solutions with 4+ years of solutions architect experience on large-scale systems including 2+ years of experience in architecting, migrating and operating solutions built on AWS or another cloud platform with an understanding of various design patterns like n-tier, micro-services, stateful/stateless, synchronous/asynchronous, batch/micro-batch/real-time etc.
- Expertise in multiple of open source programming/frameworks, API development, container/devops technologies (Docker/Kubernetes/Mesos/Calico ), databases (RDBMS/NoSQL/Graph) or data warehouses, Bigdata (Spark/Presto/Trino/Hive), building AI/ML solutions or other common technologies such as search, streaming & queues
- Understanding of distributed systems, Infrastructure, Observability, LB, Network, Security, CDN, and Storage.

- Degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Effective presentation/communication skills with the ability to communicate across c-suite
- Experience with Mobile development, Digital user engagement, Media processing/transcoding
- Thought leadership contributions to Open Source projects/Tech blogs
- AWS Associate certifications or above
