Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead teams technically to deliver against multi-generational product development plans enabled by a strong understanding of system architecture, Software architecture, Software platforms and the underlying technologies. Ensure software delivered is compliant to Industry/GE Quality, regulatory and security standards.
• Drive alignment of architecture and designs with specifications of the product(s) by leveraging best practices and deploying efficient technologies.
• Ensure alignment of multiple roadmaps, architecture and design with those from 3rd party partners.
• Champion innovation initiatives and lead teams to deliver value thereof.
• Mentor and coach architects, technical leads and developers in developing/improving their technical competencies.
• Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and drive corrective action as required.
• Champion continuous improvement activities about software quality and competence development

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’ s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or MCA or equivalent degree.

Technical skills:

• 18+ years’ experience in leading software teams and developing them into high performing units.
• Industry-recognized certifications (e.g TOGAF).
• Experience with strategic thinking for technology, software platforms and competence resulting in development of road map(s).
• Experience with conceptualization and development of software platforms, large scale integration and common software program deliveries (Cadence).
• Experience in driving big scale architecture revamp projects
• Deep experience in working with Micro services, SOA, UI tech stack, enterprise technologies (Cloud), DevOps on Linux platform. Desired is knowledge of analytics platforms in the context of Digital transformation (AI/DL)
• Capability to lead innovation initiatives via ideation, opportunity identification and portfolio impact.
• Hands on experience with C, C++/C# on Linux platform/Windows platform, Java/J2EE, REST Webservices, Spring boot, Messaging systems, Python, Shell scripting and exposure to CORBA/other middleware (s).
• Knowledge of security/privacy control concepts
• Experience with SAFe/ Agile methodologies for software development
• Exposure to Healthcare IT or medical devices, Image Processing techniques, DICOM interoperability, HL7 and healthcare standards.
• Systems engineering exposure and collaborating with global cross functional teams is highly desired.
