ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead head cleanliness FA activities for HAMR head (Slider Fab until HDD)
• Lead cleaning process development for HAMR in Slider Fab and downstream processes
• Design and execute the evaluation plans
• Summarize the evaluation results and identify process issues and/or opportunities
• Continuously improve competency in data analysis and cleaning process principles

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree: In Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master's/Ph.D.) may be preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in the FA process related applications involving magnetic head fabrication

PREFERRED:

• Background in drive failure and customer feedback is preferred
• Good fundamental understanding of basic science and technology.

SKILLS:

• Good command of the English language (verbal and written).
• Good intercommunication and report-writing skills.
