As a Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Solutions Sales Associate/Vice President within the Equity Derivatives Group, you will play a crucial role in promoting our business forward. You will be responsible for covering distribution partners such as securities houses, asset managers, and banks. Your passion for the industry will fuel your promote to offer new trade ideas and develop innovative solutions. You will need a deep understanding of Equity Derivatives, including delta one, option, and exotics option, as well as Investable Index (QIS) for its product design and delivery mechanisms such as OTC, Notes, funds, and insurance format. This role offers you the opportunity to leverage your skills and make a significant impact on our business.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and established relationships with key investors and distributors for J.P. Morgan’s products
  • Maintain and development of key client relationships
  • Manage day-to-day execution of all products we are responsible for distribution
  • Navigate in these products effectively among a broad range of clients (asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, corporations, hedge funds etc.)
  • Bring a collaborative approach working with our business partners in both trading, research and syndicate to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform
  • Take a consultative approach to working with existing clients and target prospects to assess and address their individual needs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong track record in sales and distribution of equity derivatives, mutual funds and QIS products
  • Product knowledge of equity derivatives and Investable Index (QIS) products
  • 7+ years of experience in sales
  • Critical thinker and driver of trade concepts and themes for clients
  • Strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structure
  • Great team player that partners well with principals of the platform including Research and Trading
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Self-motivated, with the skills to seek out new client opportunities and produce thoughtful trade ideas
  • Ability to think clear and logical with strong qualitative skill set including; effective communication and presentation
  • Able to deal confidently with clients at all levels in the organization
