Senior PLM Consultant
Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and adhere to project plans, timelines, and deliverables for PLM initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to collect and dissect business requirements.
- Convert business demands into functional specifications for SAP PLM applications.
- Craft and refine PLM processes to be in line with industry best practices.
- Create workflows and process enhancements to improve product lifecycle management.
- Provide consistent support and problem-solving for functional issues.
- Oversee the technical deployment of SAP PLM solutions.
- Design SAP specifications for recipe development, packaging, and labeling, and collaborate with the technical team for execution.
- Adapt the system to cater to specific sector requirements, notably in Consumer Goods and Pharmaceuticals.
- Integrate SAP PLM with various other systems, including SAP and non-SAP platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, MES).
- Execute comprehensive testing (unit, integration, user acceptance) to validate system functionality.
- Assist in data migration efforts to import product data into SAP PLM.
- Resolve any complications identified during testing and after deployment.
- Serve as the principal contact for inquiries and issues related to PLM.
- Foster communication and cooperation among internal and external parties.
- Offer documentation and training support.
Skills and attributes for success
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of clearly articulating complex details to diverse audiences.
- Analytical: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration: Adept at working in a collaborative international team setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in PLM software, including SAP PLM, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, and Dassault System ENOVIA.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in PLM, particularly in Consumer Goods and Pharmaceuticals.
- Familiarity with other PLM tools and enterprise software.
- Ability to provide accounting advice and guidance on various process transition-related topics.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Degree in Supply chain management or Economics or Engineering
- 5+ years of total consulting experience
- 2+ years’ experience in Product Lifecycle Management
- Relevant certifications in SAP PLM, Teamcenter
