Drive platforming and modernization of technologies, engineering development infrastructure and engineering methodologies to enable product differentiation, engineering efficiency and business growth.
Align engineering organizational design and talent strategy to achieve short term and strategic business goals. Responsible for building the right talent mix through acquisition, development and retention.
Partner with the MIC leadership team to drive cross functional teaming across programs and initiatives that span the total product lifecycle.
Accountable for a significant direct budget, with full responsibility for forecasting, cost management, scenario planning, modeling and target achievement.
Develops peer, cross-functional and cross-SBU and GE Healthcare relationships to maximize business outcomes, best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
10+ years progressive leadership experience in product design engineering and engineering operations, or engineering-related fields
Demonstrated leadership bringing technology ideas that influence success, within a regulated industry.
Experience leading large organization within a global matrixed structure
Ability to lead leaders with technical, clinical, operational and business backgrounds.

Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree in Engineering or related field
Experience in Medical Device Product development processes and standards
Experience in systems engineering, service engineering, hardware, embedded software, enterprise IT systems and digital solutions.
Understanding of clinical workflows and demonstrated clinical and customer orientation
