Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to:• Architect, develop, and deliver Wi-Fi connectivity features for new and existing Amazon devices
• Collaborate with other software teams to design and deliver unique customer features and experiences
• Provide Amazon Customer Support technical assistance to troubleshoot customer issues
• Mentor junior and new team members

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in embedded wireless systems
- Have prior experience with Wi-Fi solutions from one or more major Wi-Fi chipset vendors · Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common Networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS etc.
- Experienced in Wi-Fi development and debugging tools such as wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers
- Familiarity with Android and Linux development on kernel, device drivers, and frameworks
