Senior – Direct Tax and Global Compliance Process Coordination

About the job

You will work with large, multinational clients who have outsourced their compliance delivery to EY. Our role is to give our clients global visibility and control of their compliance matters. You will have a central role on these projects working with a Senior Manager to deliver the following:

• Insight - working with the direct tax Global Process Controlling team to understand what opportunities exist, how these link to other compliance processes or our tax advisory teams
• Risk - understanding the key risk points in the process, discussing the issues with EY local tax specialists, distilling the risks globally in a way the client can get an overview of what is important to them
• Control – bring control and governance to items which are important to our clients including budget management, standardised procedures and escalation chains

What you will be doing:

You will be working under the supervision of a manager located in Budapest. You will be working on the following:

• Operating processes to monitor deliverables and identify risks
• Operating processes to ensure our deliverables are saved on a timely basis and are accessible to our clients
• Operating processes to ensure contacts are up to date, have the right access and are assigned the right tasks
• Operating processes to log issues and risks raised by both the client and EY network
• Managing fee workbooks to ensue we give clients visibility of spend, billing, change requests and ensure our EY local teams get insight to their local allocations

What skills you will need:

• This role is focused on corporate income tax so experience of this technical area or any tax area is preferred
• Collaborative team player
• Excel skills
• You may not have previous experience of project management however, you should be interested in processes and standardisation
