Position: Manager, Advanced Product Quality Engineering (APQE)
Organization: Robotics Manufacturing and Technical OperationsThe ideal candidate will lead implementation of quality best practices across robotics manufacturing, guide quality strategy during product development and scaling phases, and drive continuous improvement in quality processes and systems. Key job responsibilities
- Foster a culture of inclusion.- Develop quality standards and feedback mechanisms for internal manufacturing, supplier manufacturing, and deployed product.
- Engage with stakeholders including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Technical Operations, and Hardware Development partners to develop roadmap for future engagement models.

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer science or related engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in applying Quality Engineering standards like APQP, PPAP, DfX, and FMEA in NPI.
- 5+ years of management experience
- Strong process improvement mindset for Agile environments, passion for quality.
- Excellent business communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Able to write clear and persuasive papers.
- Able to operate in a highly ambiguous environment.

- Advanced degree(s) in Engineering and/or Business/MBA
- Technical expertise in Mechanical and Electrical components common in Robotics (i.e DC motors, PCBAs, metal fabrication, gears/bearings, sensors, vision systems, etc.)
- Technical / Engineering Program Management Experience
- Multi-industry and/or consulting experience in applicable industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Medical Device, etc.). Startup experience is a plus.
- Six Sigma Green belt
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standards
