Technology leader is a specialized position in API manufacturing processes, Technology & design. Focusing on process and product life cycle to insure robust and competitive products, enhance operational technology excellence.

How you’ll spend your day
  • Life Cycle Management (LCM)- lead a comprehensive evaluation considering all operations, regulatory and financial aspects, drive cost reduction initiatives, map risk and gaps and create a long-range plan to support product commercialization, have a robust and competitive product. Work in close collaboration with production sites and global functions (R&D, Commercial, Procurement, RA/QA, SC and finance).
  • Professional and technical guidance and support- knowledge sharing, provide professional support in trouble shooting, process improvements, Scale up and technology transfers. Support in building capabilities across MS&T networks.
  • Support growth opportunities- facilitated complex evaluations of new opportunities at manufacturing sites, involving enhanced capacity, new technology and capabilities.
  • Support new technology introduction, innovation, and modernization- identify needs in the network, support evaluation and promote relevant solutions to support business needs.
  • MS&T AOP- support establishment of AOP based on business needs and prioritization, follow on execution, support professionally, facilitate decision making through supportive routines and close collaboration with different interphases in the network.
  • Work in collaboration with different interphases across the network, work in alignment and support TAPI strategy. Enhance cross company collaboration and improve organizational processes and routines.
  • Lead and drive different initiatives to bring cost reduction and efficiencies.
Your experience and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related discipline required (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years with proven history in chemical and pharmaceutical industry: for process development and/or improvements, Scale up of chemical processes, engineering process design and troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience leading process improvement/ product transfer projects.
  • Understanding of chemical process equipment design and scale up in manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in project management and cross functional working processes.
  • Previous experience in global company.
