Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale SAP implementation projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and oversee project governance to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including senior leadership, business users, and project team members.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed to minimize project disruptions.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies, and contribute to the development of best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including SAP consultants, vendors, and service providers, to ensure successful project delivery and knowledge transfer.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn existing Business Processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g. SAP capability, Standard industry best practice) in order to produce an optimal business solution
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational regional and global boundaries, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment
  • Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment and also in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably with all levels of management and staff
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for global trade compliance and optimize trade processes.
  • Configure SAP GTS modules including Customs Management, Risk Management, Compliance Management, and Electronic Compliance Reporting.
  • Customize SAP GTS functionalities to align with business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality of SAP GTS implementations.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of SAP GTS solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP GTS functionality, data integration, and system performance.
  • Stay updated on changes in global trade regulations and SAP GTS updates, and recommend adjustments to SAP GTS configurations as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, supply chain, legal, and finance to drive continuous improvement in global trade compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum X years of experience in implementing and supporting SAP GTS modules.
  • Strong understanding of global trade compliance regulations and processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP GTS configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
