• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps role, with good understanding of Cloud technologies, Microservices Architecture, and Container orchestration tools
• Hands-on expertise with DevOps tools (Podman, Docker, Kubernetes, Redhat OpenShift)
• Proficiency in a modern programming language (NodeJS, Python, GO, Java) or Linux/shell scripting
• Understanding of the platform’s lifecycle, including installs, upgrades, patching, and retirement
• Familiarity with developing and managing tools and services for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment automation

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of IBM Cloud services and management, with expertise in deploying and scaling applications in a cloud environment
• Hands-on experience using cloud-native systems for monitoring and alerting (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Instana)
• Hands-on experience using CI/CD tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Ansible etc
