As a Senior HSE Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's health, safety, and environmental efforts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in safety. You will lead a dedicated team of HSE professionals, manage budgets, and collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.You will report directly to our HSE Director and you will work out of our Geismar, LA location on an on-site work schedule.
• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
• Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, including engineers, specialists, and support staff, ensuring efficient and effective HSE practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, PSM, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
• Develop and implement safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and contribute to the development of preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents.
• Manage the HSE budget, including resource allocation and cost-effective solutions.
• Promote environmental sustainability and minimize the environmental impact of operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters.

• 10+ years of experience in HSE management
• Leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
• Passion for promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
• Strong business acumen and ability to align HSE with organizational goals
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
