Your Impact

Examples of meaningful work by R&D Engineering Interns:

  • Designing, fabricating, and testing prototype devices to address clinical feedback.
  • Analyzing large clinical databases to inform device design and procedural technique.
  • Viewing live and recorded clinical procedures and developing test methods to replicate use.

Your Qualifications:

  • Current Bachelor's student in your Junior or Senior year or grad student. Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship to quality.
  • Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.

Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substance testing requirements for safety-sensitive positions. This role is deemed safety-sensitive and, as such, candidates will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement.
