What you need to know about the role:You will provide technical discovery, product demos, solution design, and integration support for large enterprise merchants located in Europe.It is important to note that this role requires 30%-40% travel within Poland - as the engineer will be required to meet with merchants on an ongoing basis.

Your day-to-day

In your day-to-day role, you will:

• Provide technical analysis, technical solution design, software engineering support, andproduct expertise tobusinesses implementing PayPal payment processing solutions.

• Lead technical discoveryconversations, conductdetailed business processanalysis, and document customerbusiness models and requirements.

• Create technical solution design documents used to guide businesses in the implementation of PayPal paymentprocessing solutions,ensuring customersimplement our solutionswith a high degree of quality andwith optimal integrationstrategies and techniques.

• Build proof of concept demos, perform troubleshooting,and identify technicalissues with code, software, hardware, devices, and endpoints.

• Ensure projects are successful by partnering closely with other stakeholders as projects transition from design to implementation and launch.

• Provide feedback to PayPal Product Managers, PayPal Software Engineering, and other internal groups onimplementation challenges andfeature requests.

• Occasionally travelfor on-site customervisits (approximately 5% may be expected)

What do you need to bring

• Minimum 2 years ofexperience as a presales consultant, solutionsengineer, technical accountmanager, systems architect, or similar position.

• At least 3 years of experience working directly with largeenterprise clients ispreferred.

• Industry experience with payments, merchant services, e-commerce, and/or retail.

• Working knowledge of API and web technologies (REST, GraphQL, JavaScript).

• Strongrelationship-buildingskills with internal and external partners and a passion for collaborating on complex projects in a team environment.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and ideally Polish (or another Eastern European language). Comfortable presenting to C-level executive audiences.

• BS/BA or foreign equivalent in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar is preferred.
