Coach and mentor Agile teams, including remote and onsite team members, to ensure consistent application of Agile principles, practices, and mindsets in line with SAFe and SAP's "How We Run" culture
Support the performance and growth of Agile teams through structured coaching and feedback, helping them evolve into self-organizing and high-performing units
Facilitate key Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups), ensuring clarity of purpose, roles, and shared goals
Work as part of an Agile Release Train (ART) that runs on a quarterly cadence, partnering closely with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to align efforts and deliver Program Increments (PIs)
Collaborate with Product Owners and technical leads to translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, backlogs, and deliverables
Support team growth through participation in hiring processes, including facilitating candidate assessments and onboarding from an Agile perspective
Encourage a culture of curiosity, openness, and transparency to drive psychological safety and continuous learning across teams
Identify and help remove impediments or systemic blockers through proactive stakeholder engagement and problem-solving
Contribute to the scaling of Agile practices across teams, supporting team-of-teams alignment and enabling Agile maturity at scale
Guide teams through change management and transformation efforts, fostering adaptability, innovation, and cross-team collaboration
Influence ways of working and delivery models by aligning with SAP’s values of keeping promises, telling it like it is, staying curious, embracing difference, and building bridges — not silos
What You Bring
At least 8 years' of working experience in a IT industry or IT-related role
Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master supporting distributed teams in complex, fast-paced technology environments
Deep knowledge and practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Lean principles, with the ability to adapt practices to different team contexts
Experience working within a SAFe Agile Release Train (ART) and collaborating with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to support alignment and successful PI delivery is a strong advantage
Familiarity with DevOps principles and DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, Mean Time to Restore) to support Agile teams in improving delivery performance
Experience working with teams building AI or Generative AI platforms, or familiarity with enabling AI capabilities across internal functions is a plus
Strong coaching mindset with a track record of developing team performance, fostering psychological safety, and mentoring Product Owners and technical team members
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, enable cross-functional alignment, and cultivate a sense of shared ownership across geographically dispersed teams
Outstanding facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage team members and leaders across varying levels of seniority
High emotional intelligence and interpersonal sensitivity, aligned with SAP's cultural pillars — you are curious, inclusive, transparent, and collaborative
Experience with Agile delivery tools such as JIRA, MURAL, or other virtual collaboration platforms
Professional certification in Scrum or SAFe (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Scrum Master) or an equivalent Agile qualification
