Your Impact

The Chief of Staff will be working hand in hand Cisco’s Vice President of Engineering, AI within the Security Business Group (SBG) to help shape, guide and implement Cisco’s AI strategy by aligning and driving key priorities. Responsibilities include:

• Be a "Right hand" to the VP of Engineering, AI
• Assist in the formulation and execution of the monthly, quarterly, annual plans and long-range strategy
• Manage engineering hiring/retention, fiscal planning/management via collaborations with recruiting, HR and finance teams
• Work closely with other Chiefs of Staff in SBG to unblock key execution obstacles and ensure business priorities is being communicated, adopted, and implemented
• Lead and deliverer special projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree
• 12+ years of experience in business, operations, or related field to include strategic planning and execution, budget/headcount planning, measuring results and/or governance

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA/advanced degree
• Strong grasp of corporate, strategy, planning and decision-making processes
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization, including C-suite/ VP/Director level
• Strong organizational, project management skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Ability to build high trust relationships with the leadership and work collaboratively with diverse teams
