Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 4+ years experience in the cybersecurity space (cybersecurity product management, product marketing, research, or analysis)
  • Experience partnering closely with cyber research teams, customer advisory groups, customer success, and sales teams to deeply understand the threat intelligence needs of cyber analysts, security team leaders, technical decision makers, and business decision makers
  • Experience creating editorial calendars that build audiences over time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in business
    • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years marketing or sales experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience creating content that measurably changed perceptions of a target audience

Responsibilities
  • Apply a data-driven approach to analyze and understand the market, customers, and competitors to inform decision-making, glean product insight, prioritize communications initiatives, and to define success.
  • Create a compelling vision for threat intelligence and gain buy-in from stakeholder groups.
  • Implement your roadmap, working across engineering, research, product marketing, PR and marcomms functions to drive the rationalization and improvements required to achieve key results.
  • Drive Marketing Communication (marcoms), Press Release (PR), and Product Marketing experiments to maximize reach and impact of threat intelligence content.
  • Deliver a highly optimized threat intelligence and incident comms experience for all target audience roles.
  • Drive impact through other teams: Create and lead partnerships with multiple matrixed teams; Become a trusted advisor to internal partners and stakeholders; Hold teams accountable to develop an engagement plan that builds trust with customers, partners, and the field.
  • Define Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); track performance against success metrics and proactively act on performance.
  • Influence executive stakeholders across Microsoft.
